Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, Aug 18th, 2010 Lena M. Ortega passed away peacefully on Aug. 12, 2010, surrounded by her family at the age of 61. She was raised on the Ortega Ranch. Lena had a kind, generous and loving heart and always put the welfare of others first. She also loved her animals and gardening. She cherished her family, friends, the great outdoors and happiness. Lena leaves behind in loving memory her twin Sister, Linda Baker; sisters, Stella Ortega, Alice Ortega, Theresa Casillas, Augustine Alvarado of Globe, Sarah Hackler of Clovis, New Mexico, and Lucy Weist of Sparks, Nevada; three brothers, Pete, Dutch and John Ortega of Globe; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dutch and Agripina Ortega, two sisters, Mercy Johnson and Pauline Miller, and four brothers Ted, Joe, Ray and Freddy Ortega. Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 844 W. Sullivan St., Miami, Arizona. Rosary will follow at 9:30 a.m. Memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m.
