Mickey Ryan, 63, an Army veteran of 30 years who was stationed at Pearl Harbor when was attacked, died Monday in Good Samaritan Hospital.
Mr. Ryan, 3107 W. Bloomfield, was employed the past eight years in the measurement laboratory at Sperry Phoenix. Born in Ironwood, Mich., he
moved to Phoenix in 1958 from Lawton, Okla. Mr. Ryan had served 23 years
overseas in Hawaii, Panama and Japan. He retired as chief warrant officer. He wasmember of Army MasonicLodge in San Antonio, the Scottish
Rite and Arab Shrine in Topeka, Kan., and the Veterans of Foreign Wars posts in Hawaii and at Westown in Phoenix.
Masonic rites will be at 6:00pm today in Grimshaw Mortuary, 334 W. Monroe. Burial will be in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery with an honor guard from Luke AFB assisting.
His wife, Gladys; a son, Lt. Mickey J. Ryan of Otis AFB on Cape Cod, Mass and two grandchildren survive.
