Mrs. Mabel K. Matlock, 89, a life member of the Women's Society of Christian Service in the Methodist Church, died Monday in her home, 7520 N. 12th Ave.

Mrs. Matlock moved to Phoenix in 1929 from Durant, Okla., where her husband was president of the Durant National Bank for 25 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mercer Mortuary,1541 E. Thomas. 

Friends may call at the mortuary after 6 p.m.tomorrow. Burial will be in
Memory Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Matlock, a native of Norborne, Mo., is survived by her husband, Eugene S.; a daughter, Mrs. A. B. Sanders Jr. of Phoenix; a brother out of state; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
