MCKENZIE, William C.


The Arizona Republic 25 May 1966 William C. KcKenzie, 68, who retired in 1961 after 19 years as an accountant for the Myers-Leiber Sign Co. Inc., died Monday in his home, 743 E. Fillmore. Mr. McKenzie came to Phoenix in 1942 from El Paso, Tex., where he had been deputy collector of customs for 21 years. He had resided in Tempe the past four years. He was a member of Veterans of World War I Barracks 891 and Valley Plaza Methodist Church. He was born in Highland Park, Ill. Services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Angela C; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Kirkman of Scottsdale, Mrs. B. L. Stephens of Tempe; two sons, William and Robert, both of Scottsdale; a brother, E. B. of Seattle, Wash.;and 14 grandchildren.
