GLENDALE - Hal H. Hawkins, 76, a retired farmer who came to Phoenix five years ago from Mattoon, Ill., died Monday at his home, 5739 W. Bethany Home.

Mr. Hawkins was born near Taylorviile, Ill., where he farmed most of his life. He had resided the last eight months in Glendale and before that in Phoenix.

Services will be in Pana, with burial in Oconee, Ill., Lundberg's
Chapel of Chimes announced. Surviving are a daughter, Zelma R. Hawkins of Glendale; a son, Dwyane R. of Mattoon; two brothers and two sisters
all in Illinois; and two grandchildren.
