Loretta Pelletier, the dearest, sweetest mother, step-mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away on August 17, 2010 at the age of 98.
Born in St. Cloud, MN, she is preceded in death by her five siblings, husbands Milo and Clete, sons-in-law John and Tom, and step-son David.
Survived by her only child, Dolores, who cared for her lovingly in her final days, and step-children Janel Rasmussen (Howard), Paul Pelletier (Paulette), and Peggy Peterson.
She will be dearly missed by her granddaughters Susan Drummond (Ian), Nancy Somers, Kathy Somers (Pete), Jill Somers Riverso (Chuck), Janet Becker (Tom), and the sweet sixteen: Gina, Erin, Monica, John, Emily, Colin, T.J., Joe, Molly, Mary, Andrew, Anna, Max, Somer, Jack and Charlie; as well as many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
Loretta was a woman of strong faith who loved her family and her church. She was an active member of Scottsdale Women's Club, a longtime member of OLPH Sodality, Legion of Mary, and was an adorer with Perpetual Adoration for 23 years.
A Rosary will be recited at 9:30am Monday, August 23rd at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 7655 E. Main Street, Scottsdale, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am.
Everyone is invited to join the family for a reception and celebration of Loretta's life immediately following the Mass at Messinger Mortuary's Courtyard Reception Room.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014 or the OLPH Building Fund.
