Rose Woodward passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at home with her family by her side. She was born April 12, 1922, in Ulm, Wyo., to Joe Miech and Anna Sikora.
Rose grew up on a ranch in Wyoming and lived around the Sheridan, Wyo., area for 74 years. She meet Gerald Everett Woodward and the two were married Oct. 21, 1942, in Hardin, Mont. They resided in the Clearmont, Wyo., area for 31 years. Rose enjoyed canning, crocheting, and sewing and was a great cook. Her pies and donuts were loved by all who tasted them.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Jean Woodward, of Aurora, Colo.; Son, Everett G. (Jerry) (Sandra) Woodward, of Lake Havasu City; three grandchildren, Merritt Woodward, of Green River, Wyo., Gerald Eugene (Pamela) Woodward, of Sheridan, Wyo., and Scott (Darla) Woodward, of Three Forks, Mont.; three step grandchildren, Curtis Smith, of Frankfort, Ky., Brain Smith, of Ashland, Ore., and Brenda Genre, of Alabama; sisters, Mabel Rothwell and Edna Fry; 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Woodward; sisters, Mary Powers, Albena Kobielusz andAnna Kumar; brothers, Joe, Mike, Johnny, George and Ed Miech.
