The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, July 29, 2010 John F. Cooper, 78, of Cordes Lakes, Ariz., died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, in Prescott, Ariz. He was born in Joliet, Ill., to Calvin Cooper and Cerena Scalf. John retired from Caterpillar Proving Grounds Arizona. He was a Mason and Shriner and a member of the Bradshaw Mountain Shrine club in Prescott Valley. John was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Marcia; son Mike; and brothers Calvin, Harry and Russell. He is survived by his wife Dorothy; son Garry; brother Kenny; sister Alice; three stepsons, Tom, Jeff and Jim; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Aug. 21, 2010, at the Community Bible Church of Cordes Lakes, 20049 E. Club Lane, Cordes Lakes, Ariz.
