The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ December 11, 2007 12:00 am The heavens opened wide, the angels sang and our Lord welcomed beloved Peggy to his Kingdom. Peggy O'Brien Maley left this world Dec. 3, 2007, after a long illness. Her positive, never-give-up attitude warmed the hearts of everyone she met. Quick with a smile and a gentle touch, she helped many people deal with grief during her time as a hospice worker in Tucson, while she was dealing with her own illness. She will be missed by many. Peggy is survived by the love of her life, her husband Gary, whom she always called "Honey," of Eagar. She is also survived by her daughter Mindy St. Clair; son-in-law John St. Clair; granddaughters Anna and Katie of Eagar; her daughter Melissa Wallace and son-in-law Vicente Guillot; granddaughter Claudia and grandson Liam of LaCrosse, Wisc.; her son Todd Maley and his wife Christine; granddaughter Jessica and grandson Justin of Victorville, Calif., and her daughter Kelly Maley of Tucson. Peggy will be laid to rest in California. "Rest in peace our Peggy. You deserve it."
