REMALA, Marie

Marie Remala, 85, died peacefully at her home Dec. 11, 2007. She was born May 24, 1922, in Philadelphia, Penn.

Marie loved to make rosaries and sing in the church choir. She was a member of the VFW Post 76 for about seven years. Marie was a member of Our Lady's Rosary Makers and was a volunteer for Navapache Regional Medical Center for 14 years.
 
She is survived by her husband, John Remala of Show Low; children Gene Marie Gafford of Colorado, Deborah Singleton of Tucson, Patricia (Russell) Provost of Phoenix, Cindy Hurst of Illinois, John K. Remala of South Dakota and Michael (Kimberly) Remala of Wyoming; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Show Low.
