The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ December 21, 2007 Karen A. Dennis, 51, of Pinetop went to be with her parents and her Lord Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007. Karen was born March 10, 1956, in Phoenix to Pete and Adeline (Kozak) Frankowski. She was a lifelong resident of Arizona, and lived in the White Mountains for the past 12 years. Karen put up a good battle with breast cancer. It was the last thing she would have to deal with, but she always said, "We all have to go some way!" She will be missed greatly. Karen is survived by her loving husband, Gary C. Dennis, and her wonderful daughter, Emily Taylor Dennis; her dogs, Sissy and Harley; and her sisters, Janice Faulkner of Las Vegas and Marilyn Lytle of Germany, and their families. In lieu of flowers donations in Karen's name can be made to the Karen Dennis Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank, 1551 E. White Mountain Blvd., Pinetop, AZ 85935, for a scholarship fund for her daughter, Emily Dennis. Karen wanted her daughter to go to college.
