Emery E. Brown, 80, of Mesa, a mechanic, died Dec. 25, 1996.  He was born in Mount Hope, West Virginia, and was a World War II Army veteran.  

Survivors include his sisters, Marie Deaver and Wilma Reynolds; and brothers, James Denver, Horace and Willard.  

Services are private.  Contributions Arizona State Braille and Talking Book Library.  Mountain View Memorial Gardens Mortuary and Mausoleum.
