Eric Quinn "Pablo" Sanchez, age 55, a Prescott Valley resident, passed away on Aug. 10, 2010, at a Phoenix Hospital. He went to be with his Father in Heaven whom he loved and served dearly.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his beloved dogs, Lyla and Katie of the family home; his mother, Bernice Possiel of Maple Grove, Minn.; sisters Eve Silver (Mark) and Lisa Possiel; his children, Dreanne, Eric and William; two stepchildren, Kristi Palmer (Mike), and Tyler Palmer (Sammy); four grandchildren, Bailey, Karson, Hannah and Madison; and his special friends, Rick and Cindy Walker, Dwayna, Daniel, all of Prescott Valley and his many friends of Bill W. He was predeceased by his father, Eliza Sanchez.
A memorial service will be Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at Prescott Valley Christian Church with Rev. Matt Showalter officiating.
He will be cremated per his wishes and burial with full military honors will be at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 16, 2010 the Prescott National Veteran's Cemetery.
He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a helicopter mechanic in Vietnam and was a disabled veteran. He worked as a firefighter in Oglethorpe, Ga., and as a policeman in Chattanooga, Tenn. He was a member of Prescott Valley Christian Church and a spiritual advisor to many.
