DACQUISTO, Jack Joseph


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, August 16, 2010 Jack Joseph DacQuisto, age 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Prescott. He was the husband of the late Delphine (Kosmoski) DacQuisto with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. Born in Milwaukee, Wis., he was the son of the late Matthew and Vincenza (LaGosh) DacQuisto. After serving in the United States Army during WWII, he was honorably discharged having served as Corporal. Upon returning from the service, Jack returned to his employment at International Harvesters in Milwaukee where he was employed as a mechanic. He also was proprietor of Jack's TV Service and he had a Trustee position with the United Auto Workers Union. He also served on the West Allis Taxpayers Association. His love of sports, being an avid golfer, bowler and Green Bay Packer fan were some of Jack's favorite past times. Jack loved dogs, music, dancing and singing and will be known for always having a smile and singing his favorite tunes. Jack had recently relocated to Prescott to be with his daughter, having taken his first airplane ride just weeks ago. He was a man of his faith and a very generous individual who will be greatly missed by all he touched. Jack was the loving and devoted father of Jacquelyn Levesque and her husband Ray; Gayle Graham and her husband Tim and Matthew DacQuisto. Jack was the loving grandfather of four and great grandfather of four. Relatives and friends are invited to Jack's viewing at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010, followed by his funeral mass at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 150 Fleury Ave., Prescott. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jack's memory may be made to the United Service Organizations, P.O.
