The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ December 24, 2007 Richard "Wes" Lewis of Lakeside died Dec. 20, 2007, in Lakeside. Wes was a sales representative for 16 years for Hughes Supply of Lakeside and Gilbert. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lewis. A memorial service in his honor will be held Friday, Dec. 28, at 4 p.m. at Silver Creek Mortuary, 745 Paper Mill Road, in Taylor. For questions call the mortuary at (928) 536-4045. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ December 28, 2007 12:00 am Richard "Wesley" Lewis died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, at the RTA Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Lakeside. He was 56 years old. He was born Jan. 14, 1951, in El Paso, Texas, the son of Richard R. and Edith Lewis. He spent his early childhood years in Deming, N.M. His family later moved to Alamogordo, N.M., where he graduated from high school. He then attended one year of college in Las Cruces, N.M., where he met Cindy Wright. Wes and Cindy were married in 1973. Together, they raised two children, Chris and Alicia. Following their divorce in the late 1990s, Wes met Patricia Fuller, and they were married in 2001. Wes and Patricia moved to Show Low Feb. 1, 2002, where he spent the rest of his life. Wes enjoyed playing golf, horseshoes and computer games. In addition, he loved to watch football, basketball and baseball. Of course, he also loved his job at Hughes Supply, where he worked for almost 16 years. Left to cherish his memory is his father, Richard R. Lewis; sisters Lynn Robertson, Jean (Bill) Schimmer; his wife, Patricia Lewis; his children, Chris (Michelle) Lewis and Alicia (Josh) Oller; stepchildren: Eric (Valerie) Boyd, Ryan Fuller, Anna (Jesse) Calhoun and Falen Fuller; and grandchildren Ben and Emily Lewis, Caleb and Kayden Oller.
