The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ December 28, 2007 Kay Henderson, 93, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, at her residence at Bannon Springs, Vernon. She was born June 18, 1914, to Richard and Alice Meador in Hardin, Mo. Kay worked at the BookStore at San Diego State University and retired in 1972. She then moved to Nutrioso where she was a longtime resident. She is survived by her daughters, Janelle Mosher of San Diego, Calif.; Sue Moreland of San Diego, Calif.; and Donna Carroll of Springerville; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Les Henderson; daughter Judy Wilson; son Bill Tabor, parents Richard and Alice Meador; and her sisters and brothers. A viewing was held Saturday, Dec. 29, at 1 p.m. at Burnham Mortuary, 535 N. Main St. of Eagar. Interment will be held at Hardin Cemetery, Hardin, Mo. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled arrangements.
