WHITLOCK, Katherine (Kathy)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ December 31, 2007 Katherine "Kathy" Brown Whitlock, 74, died Dec. 18, 2007, at her home in Eagar. She was born Dec. 3, 1933, in Winslow to Adolph Alison Brown and Hetty Ruby Peery Brown. Kathy loved to cook, crochet and travel. She lived in many states including Arizona, Wyoming, Oregon, New Mexico and Montana, her second home. She was a cook in the cow camps of Montana and an antique dealer everywhere she went. She is survived by her daughters, Collette (Steve) Hinton-Hill of Eagar and Marty Celia Haws of Wyoming; brother Bobby Brown; sister Loretta Slade; and grandchildren Edwin, Andrew, Justine and Tara. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Billy Brown and Raymond Brown. Graveside services were held Saturday, Dec. 22, at the Nutrioso Cemetery. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled the arrangements.
