The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, July 22, 2010 George Leonard, born November 22, 1907, died of old age July 3, 2010 in Cottonwood. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dina of Cottonwood; sons Jeff (Val) of Cottonwood and Bill (Claudia) of Kingsport, Tennesee; daughter Jean Ogburn of San Andreas, California; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. He had great stories, humor to the end and was a fine example to all. 101 really good years and a slow one year slide to the end is not bad at all. A Memorial Mass will be said at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cottonwood on August 2 at 11 AM with a recpetion to follow in the parish hall.
