George C. Palmer, 84, of Phoenix, a retired dairyman, died Dec. 26, 1996. He was born in Mineral Wells, Texas, and was a World War II Navy veteran. Survivors include his daughter, Dixie Lee Pickett; sons, Lawrence and Donald; sister, Euela Thornton; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Services Monday Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 W.
