He was born Aug. 1, 1925, in Stockholm, Sweden, the son of Arvein and Yelle Ericson. He was a retired engineer. He leaves his wife of 16 years Mary O’Leary Ericson; a stepson Leonard “Rick” Darrow; stepdaughter Maureen Townsend of Phoenix, Lois Danalt of Henderson, Nevada; stepsons Michael O’Leary and Thomas O’Leary; a sister Sonya Margarita of Sweden; several step-grandchildren. He was married to Juanita Ericson from 1951 to 1994. He was married to Mary O'Leary from 1994 to 2010. He died on May 14, 2010 at Flagstaff Medical Center. He has a step-daughter, Lois Denaut; and six step-grandchildren-Susan, Jennie, David, Mark, Michelle, and Richard; and three great step-grandchildren-Jessica, David, and Ayla.
