Emma L. Johnson, 87, a Phoenix homemaker, died Jan. 3, 1988, at Phoenix General Hospital.  She was born in Batesville, Arkansas.  Survivors include her son, Cecil; one sister; two brothers; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  Services at Northwest Mortuary, 4033 N. 19th Ave.  Published in the Arizona Republic 5 January 1988, p. D10.
