Kevin Lee Corey, 51, of Flagstaff, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, after a long battle with throat cancer.
Mr. Corey was born Sept. 26, 1958, in St. Louis, Mo., to Donald and Phyllis Corey. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He graduated from Arcadia High School in 1977, and he attended Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo., where he also owned Clancy's Pub. He worked in the hospitality industry throughout his life.
Known for his wonderful sense of humor and devotion to his family and friends, he loved playing, watching and coaching his girls in sports. He was an avid skier, hunter, fisherman, chef and Denver Broncos fan.
Mr. Corey is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters Tressa, Brea, Krissy and Chelsea; father Donald Corey, sisters Denise Smith, Kay Frederick (Robert) and Sonya Feldkamp (Ron); mother-in-law Clydne and father-in-law Dennis Womack; brother-in-law Jerry (Tracy); sister-in-law Kathy (Randy); and stepbrothers Steve (Sharon), Scott (Jan), David (Julie) and Mark. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Phyllis; brothers-in-law John Feldkamp and Ron Nanninga; and stepmother Donna.
