James Alva Barnett, 88, born March 16, 1920, in Gordon, Texas, passed away Aug. 15, 2008, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. 

Commemoration services in honor of Jim will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Prescott Valley United Methodist Church, 8944 E. Sommer Dr., Prescott Valley, AZ.
