NEIBERLEIN, Russell, Jr.


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ November 16, 2007 Russell Neiberlein Jr., 48, of Snowflake entered into rest Oct. 27, 2007, in Peoria. Russell was a journeyman ironworker with Local 75 and had many other helpful talents. As an ironworker, he worked on the Roosevelt Dam, Bank One Ball Park, Palo Verde Nuclear Plant, ASU Stadium and many other landmarks in Arizona His life was his family, watching his children grow, rejoicing in their accomplishments and being there when they needed support. He was proud as each new grandchild arrived, when they said "papa" for the first time, the joy he felt and each and every time they said "I love you!" He was always in wonderment with each minute spent with them. Russell has met many people in his travels and gained many friends whom he held close in special memories. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. In his free time, he also enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, holidays, barbecues, golfing, music, coffee and watching the sunrise. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Colleen Neiberlein of Snowflake; three daughters and sons-in-law, Yvonne Evans (Jason) of White Mountain Lakes, Naomi Hullingar (Matt) of San Antonio, Texas, and Kaiya Philo (Curtis) of Queen Creek; one son and daughter-in-law Russell Neiberlein III (Staci) of Snowflake; eight grandchildren, Alyssa, Danielle, Elijah, Spencer, Erik, Kelsi, Michael and baby girl Hulligar due in December. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Neiberlein Sr.; mother Fay Neiberlein (Blacksmith), brother Robert Neiberlein; sister Bettyann Potillo (David) and many aunts and uncles. Services will be held at Scott's Reservoir boat dock in Pinetop Nov. 17 beginning at 12:30 p.m. A potluck luncheon will be held in Taylor following the service.
