KENNEDY, Laura Velma

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ November 23, 2007 Laura Velma Kennedy went to be with the Lord Nov. 13, 2007. She was born Dec. 22, 1928, to Joe and Velma Willis, in McLean, Texas. Laura married Paul Kennedy May 14, 1992, in Amarillo, Texas. At the time of her death she was with her granddaughter, Tiffanie Gallup, in Snowflake. During her life she worked as a real estate agent and also worked for many years at Sears. She loved to dress up, put on pretty jewelry and go dancing. She also was an avid reader. She is survived by one daughter, Lana J. Gregory of Mesa, whom she lived with over the past few years; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Brilla Hall and Bonnie Simpson. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband Paul and sister Jolene. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor handled arrangements
