MEEKS, Frances

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ November 27, 2007 Frances Meeks, 59, of Snowflake died Saturday, Nov. 17, at Summit Medical Center. Frances was born June 14, 1948, in Aschaffenburg, Germany, the daughter of Steve and Ingeborg Wano. She was raised in Germany and Pennsylvania. She graduated from Latrobe High School in 1966 and attended college in Pennsylvania and later lived in Virginia. She had worked in the Maricopa County Court Clerk's office for many years. She was married to W. D. Meeks March 25, 2006, at Snowflake. She enjoyed watching movies, working on the computer and her dog, Honey. She was a member of the High Country Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, W.D. of the home; brother Randy Wano of New Jersey; "schweter" (sister) Eve Sandy and a number of aunts and uncles. Memorial services are pending.
