SCHIPPER, Alicia Rose


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Wednesday, July 16, 2008 Alicia “Alesha” Rose Schipper lost her battle with leukemia June 30, 2008, with her family at her side. She was born April 8, 1986, in Oak Lawn, Ill., to Ronald and Susan (Lindorff) Schipper. Alicia moved to Lake Havasu City from Crown Point, Ind., in July 1998. She graduated from Lake Havasu High in 2004 and attended ASU for two years. Alicia was employed at Lady Di's as a floral designer. She was known as un-4-get-able on her Myspace page. Alicia was an extremely generous and caring individual with a unique sense of humor and style, and an inspiration to all who knew her. Her enjoyable but busy schedule included off roading, road trips, boating, working out, dancing, girls night out, party planning, hanging with friends and family and adventures. She truly was an unforgettable person and will be deeply missed. Alicia is survived by her parents, Ron and Sue Schipper; sister, Brianna Schipper; brother, Cory Schipper; aunt, Sandra (Lindorff) Thimmig, of Denver, Colo.; cousins, Lisa and Brian Thimmig, of Texas; uncle, Michael Lindorff, of Carmel, Ind.; aunt, Jannette (Schipper) Matushek, of Schereville, Ind.; cousins, Alex and Taylor Matushek; uncle, Rocky Schipper, of Schereville, Ind.; aunt, Paulette (Schipper) Keilman, of Swansea, Ill.; cousins, Lisa and Laura Keilman; Grams, Rose (Steffan) Lindorff, of Lake Havasu City; gramma, Mary Schipper, of Schereville, Ind.; best friend, Candice Thye, of Lake Havasu City. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Wilmer (Curly) Lindorff, and her paternal grandparents, Alberta and Paul Schipper. A Celebration of Alicia's life will take place at Our Lady of the lakeCatholic Church on Saturday at 1 p.m., with a reception to follow.
