Dexter Miller, 87, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008, in Lake Havasu City. He was born April 25, 1921 in Rogers, Ark.
Dexter married Marie, his bride of 63 years in Flint, Mich., Sept. 2, 1944. He served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed on a supply ship in the South Pacific during WWII. After returning, he went to work for Fisher Body, until he retired in 1975 and he and his family relocated to Lake Havasu City. Dexter worked as a general contractor and he and Marie also owned Havasu Florist. He was also very accomplished in stain glass and furniture making.
Dexter is survived by his wife, Marie; daughters, Stephanie Robertson, of Lake Havasu City, Joyce Lott, of Ohio; grandson, Quade Robertson; granddaughter, Jeanna Lott; four great grandchildren and extended family Chuck and Renee Harden of Kauai, Hawaii, Heather Arellanes, of Kauai, Hawaii; and Amber Saucier, of Lake Havasu City.
A Celebration of Dexter's life will take place at 3860 Vega Dr., Lake Havasu City, AZ. 86404 on Sunday at 2 p.m.
