The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ November 30, 2007 Kenneth Matthew Patten, 35 of Whiteriver died November 23, 2007. He was born May 26, 1972, in Whiteriver to Provencio and Cecilia Patten. Mr. Patten was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. He was always smiling and outgoing. He loved his five children, Kenneth Matthew Patten Jr., Kameron Ken Patten, Matthew Earl Ethelbah, Shanyce Rose Patten and Khalia Mary Patten. Kenneth is survived by his parents, Provencio and Cecilia Patten; his five children; brothers Raymus Patten and Dominic George; two god sisters, Leanne Johnson and Genna Gertie Nosie. A two-night wake began at 10 a.m. Thursday at the home of Provencio and Cecelia Patten in Upper Eastfork with funeral services beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the East Fork Miracle Church. Interment will be in the East Fork Mission Cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
