Richard was born in Blairstown, N.J. Nov. 29, 1939, to Frances (West) and Ralph H. Albertson. He worked for Paragon supplies in Hope, N.J., a manufacture of religious candles, in 1958 and also had a gas station/garage business.
He lived in Hope for 61 years where he met his wife, Dale Holderith, and the two of them wed in the First Methodist church April 4, 1959. He moved to Lake Havasu City after retirement, and lived here for seven years.
Richard is survived by his wife, Dale Albertson; his three daughters; Beth Flanders, Erin Albertson and Susan Albertson; grandchildren; Jesse Baker, Rickey Flanders, Charity Flanders, Scotty Flanders, Lee Albertson; and his sister, Patricia Berry.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Ralph Albertson.
Dick loved living in Havasu Heights, enjoyed riding his Harley and trips in the desert with the jeep. He was handy and enjoyed working around his home and other jobs. Fishing was a great enjoyment for Richard especially Lake Trout at Seneca Lake, N.J. He also attended Havasu Alliance Church. Richard will be missed by his family and friends; they were an important part of his life.
A memorial Service will be held for Richard Sunday at 3 p.m., at Lake Havasu Mortuary and Crematory,. 2225 N. Kiowa Blvd. Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Officiating will be Pastor John Maki.
