DAWSON, Marian Glenna

Marian Glenna Dawson, born June 25, 1906 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away December 29th, 2003, at home in Scottsdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Lester Dawson; daughter, Janet Clark; and granddaughter, Deborah George. Marian is survived by daughters, Jean Delaney of San Jose, California, Elizabeth George and Marjorie O'Dell of Phoenix as well as 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Our beloved mother raised her four daughters with pride and humor and taught them respect. The family home in Minneapolis and summer home in Wisconsin were always filled with family and friends. The family wintered in Arizona for many years and finally made it their place of residence in 1966. Marian will be missed by many people of all ages. Services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2004 at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale, AZ. Published in the Arizona Republic on 1/1/2004.
