BROWN, Katie Ray

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ August 31, 2010 Katie Ray Mason Brown, 78, passed away at her home in Overgaard with her loving family around her on August 25, 2010. She was born in Boise, Idaho to Walter B. and Lorena Mason on April 3, 1932, and later spent 30 years in Mesa, AZ. Katie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and spent her time as a homemaker and selling Real Estate. Katie married Donald "Don" Brown in Logan, UT and was married for 58 years. She is survived by her Husband Donald Brown, three children: David S. (JennaVee) Brown of Mesa, Cynthia Lynn (Michael) Marble of Santa Barbara, CA, and Kimberly Kay Brown of Mesa, her Baby brother Kenneth Mason, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Lorena Mason, and her younger brother, Walter Blair Mason . A visitation will be held Monday, August 30, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the Heber LDS Chapel. A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 9:00 AM with the funeral service following at 10:00 also at the Heber LDS Chapel. The interment will follow the funeral services at the Heber Cemetery.
