SCHWARZ, Donald Lee


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Monday, June 9, 2008 Donald Lee Schwarz passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at home with his loving wife Eileen by his side. Donald was born Sept. 26, 1938, in Evansville, Ind. to Theodore Schwarz and Kathrine Marie Phillips. Donald enlisted into the Marines and served his country for three years as a PVT E1, rifleman and then served anther three years in the reserves. Donald and Eileen were married in San Diego, California on Dec. 30, 1992, where they lived together for thirteen years before moving to Lake Havasu City two years ago. Donald was a member of the Elks Lodge and the American Legion. Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Kathrine Schwarz. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Eileen Schwarz; son Darrell (Elizabeth) Schwarz; daughter, Laura (Vince) Giannotti; stepsons, Jason and Vincent Rubio; sisters Joyce Smith and Beverly Whitney; brother, David Schwarz and family; grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda, and Kyle; and one great grandchild, Donovan. Condolences can be made in person to the family at Donald and Eileen’s home from 4-8 p.m., Thursday. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu.
