Wendy Lynn Mortensen Gilbert. With deep love and respect we announce the death of Wendy Lynn on December 28, 2003. Born April 6, 1972, to Paul and Amy (Lesneski) Mortensen in Mesa, Arizona. 

Wendy leaves behind a legacy of love and charity. She devoted her life to her family and service to others and left a lasting impression on those who knew and loved her. Her family and friends will always remember their wonderful Wendy who delighted them with a sense of humor, affection and the wonderful way she could make them feel loved. 

Wendy is survived by her son Seth, her mother Amy and father Paul Mortensen, her brother Jason (Stephanie) Mortensen, her sister Kristen (David) Halama, her brother Steven Mortensen, and four nieces and nephews. 

Public visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 2, 2004 and funeral services will follow at the LDS Chapel, 2152 East Adobe St, Mesa, AZ 85213. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arizona Spinal Cord Injury Association, 901 East Willetta, Suite 2306, Phoenix, AZ, 85006.
