Bernadelle Jean Dorene (Kuhn) Brunner, 80, was called home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in Lake Havasu City. She was born Jan. 9, 1928, to Carl and Mathilda (Bolte) Kuhn. She was baptized and attended St. John's Lutheran Church parochial grade school at Lyons Creek and graduated from Hope High School, Hope, Kan.
She married Robert Stewart Brunner of Ramona on Dec. 22, 1946. Bernadelle was a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Lake Havasu City.
She is survived by three daughters, Roberta Brunner, of Lake Havasu City, Dianne (Bob) Rufenacht, of Rescue, Calif., and DeLora (Dr. Don) Young ,of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Arlene Stroth, of Sacramento, Calif., and Marilyn Anderson, of Hope, Kan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, on Sept. 13, 1984, her parents and a son-in-law, William Durham.
Funeral service will be held at Lamb of God Lutheran Church on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Lewis Cemetery in Ramona, Kan.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be given to Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 2791 Inca Dr., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406 or Hospice of Havasu, P. O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.
