PIVON, Coletta M.


Coletta M. Pivon, 87, of Ahwatukee, Arizona, died January 1, 2004 in Aurora, Ohio. Coletta was born March 13, 1916 in Cleveland, Ohio. She worked for 25 years at St. Luke's Hospital in Cleveland before retiring to Arizona in 1978. Coletta was an active member of Church of the Holy Spirit in Tempe where she was a minister of hospitality for many years and an officer of their senior citizen's group. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James A. Pivon in 1988. Survivors include her daughters, Colette (Robert) Modic of Fountain Hills, AZ and Nancy Pivon of Aurora, OH; 4 grandchildren, Kimberly (Gregory) Cygan, Brian (Linda) Kuczynski, Todd (Stephanie) Modic and Kevin (Vicky) Kuczynski and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, January 8, 2004, with a recitation of the Rosary at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave., Tempe. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Jan 9 at Church of the Holy Spirit, 1800 E. Libra Dr., Tempe. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Mesa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Coletta's name to the church. Published in the Arizona Republic on 1/4/2004.
