SACHS, Ruth B.

Mrs. Ruth B. Sachs was born December 17, 1915 in Missouri and grew up in Castro Valley, California. She married Ray S. Sachs in 1940 and moved to Globe, Arizona in 1946 where together they owned and ran Sachs Motor Company for 30 years. During this time, she was a member of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Nile. Throughout the rest of her life, she was known for her dedication to her family, friends and helping others in need. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Sachs, brothers Hadley, Leanord Cole, and sister, Cleo McNabb. She is survived by her brother Tim Cole of California, son Hugh Sachs of New Mexico, granddaughter Donna Rae Morrison of California, niece Juanita Barefoot of Arizona and great grandchildren Matt and Sarah Zimmer of California. Memorial Services will be held at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery on Monday, January 5, 2004. The Arizona Republic on 1/4/2004.
