SICARD, Timothy M.

Timothy M. Sicard, 51, of Peoria, AZ began a new life December 23, 2003. Tim was born in St. Paul, MN. He worked for the United States Postal Service and he dedicated 17 years of his life to the United States Navy. Tim was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend. Preceded in death by his mother Bette (Leary). Survived by his: father Warren; wife Debbie, three daughters Casey Gushock (Patrick), Kelly Border (Michael), and Kari Sicard (Josh Ebbers) ; two grandsons Garrett Michael Border and Graham Patrick Gushock; Five Siblings, Bill (Kathleen), Terry (Colleen), Scott, Kevin (Carol), Mary Bruns (Bruce); many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. Tim wanted us to celebrate his mortal passing and eternal life. He encouraged us to hold onto the fond memories of the past while embracing those of the future. His acceptance of his fate was a lesson in grace and humility. Tim will always be remembered for his willingness to help others, his peaceful disposition, and story-telling ability among other things (i.e. the Look). Tim and his family extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone for your support and prayers. A private memorial service will be held for the family. Published in the Arizona Republic on 1/4/2004.
