OLSON, William (Bill)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, August 6, 2008 William “Bill” Olson, 71, of Prescott passed away at 12:50 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at the VA Medical Center in Prescott. He was born April 25, 1937, the eldest son of Carl and Helen Olson of Calumet City, Ill., both of whom precede him in death. He is survived by his daughter Kirsten (David) Ahmari; his son Erik (Michele) Olson; brother Robert Olson; sister Linda Newell; grandchildren Alex, Kate, Matthew, Nicholas and Jack; as well as several nephews and nieces. Bill retired from R.R. Donnelley & Sons of Chicago in 1992 after 40 years of employment. He also served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1962. A Celebration of Life open house for Bill Olson will be from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, at Bill’s home, 3300 Sunflower Dr., Prescott. Information provided by survivors.
