HAESSIG, Edwin Theodore (Ted)

Edwin Theodore "Ted" Haessig, Surprise, Arizona, age 73, was born December 25, 1929, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He passed away December 25, 2002 at his home in Sun City Grand. 

He moved with his parents to Phoenix over 50 years ago from Memphis, Tennessee. He retired from US West after 23 years of service as a directory salesman. He is survived by his wife, June; daughters, Teddy Haessig Irvine (Jim), Polly Haessig, of California and grandson, James Theodore Irvine. 

He was known for his readiness to have fun, sense of humor, and caring nature. Ted was a loving son, husband, father and friend. 

The memorial service will be held on December 30, 2002 at the Congregational Church of Sun City, 18401 N. 99th Ave., in Sun City. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Sun Health Hospice, 12740 N. Plaza Del Rio Blvd., Peoria, AZ, 85381. Hansen Chapel.
