KITTLESON,
Janis
Janis Kittleson, ( 1955 - 2002).
Kurt Kittleson and sons Kyle and Drew with mother Helen Jones lovingly announce the passing of their Wife, Mother and Daughter respectively.
Janis attended Oklahoma State, earned her bachelor degree from University of Texas at Austin, completed her Masters in Piano Performing Arts at North Texas State and continued work on her doctorate, was an accomplished concert pianist, a beloved Wife, loving and devoted Mother and cherished Daughter.
No newcomer to theatrical productions, due to her Mother and late Father Weldon's development of the Boomtown Theatre in Janis' hometown of Drumright, Oklahoma, Janis made her most significant appearance as the featured guest artist with the Phoenix Symphony in 1986. A friend of the theatre, Janis made hundreds of Valley productions better through her efforts and understanding of spontaneity and musical accompaniment. Everyone who enjoyed the family combo performances of Janis on piano and Helen on marimbas will never forget the talent and creativity they expressed.
Janis made her wish known that all contributions and support should be directed to the Boomtown Theatre 116 East Broadway Drumright, Oklahoma 74030 (918-352-2236).
A service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday December 28, 2002, at the First Christian Church on McDonald between Scottsdale and Hayden.
