PETERSON, Julia Elaine (Judy)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ October 25, 2007 Julia Elaine "Judy" Peterson, 65, of Lakeside died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, at her home. Judy was born June 1, 1942, in Snowflake, the daughter of Lamar and Bessie (Rhoton) Peterson. She was raised and attended school at Snowflake and graduated from Winslow High School in 1960. She recently lived in Lakeside and had worked as a secretary and waitress. Survivors include a daughter, Karly Sikora Bowers of Reno, Nev.; three brothers, Scott, Jack and Deri; three sisters, Marilyn, Virginia and Bessie; nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lakeside Chapel.
