Leo "Popeye" St. Pierre, 66, of Snowflake died Oct. 23, 2007, at his home.
Mr. St. Pierre, a retired automotive mechanic, was born Oct. 27, 1940, in Providence, R.I., where he grew up and attended school. Following school, he moved to Phoenix and worked at many different jobs, including owning a restaurant, an ice cream truck, a karaoke company and he also worked in construction. He moved to Snowflake in 2000, where he met Clarice Bentley and they were married June 19, 2003, in Snowflake. He loved karaoke and crafts.
Mr. St. Pierre is survived by his wife, Clarice M. Bentley; four sons, Arthur Jr. of Rhode Island, Carl of Phoenix, Brian of Montana and Richard of Phoenix; three daughters, Christine of Phoenix, Denise Strand of Montana and Brandy of Snowflake; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Morris, and four sisters Connie French, Vi MacKinnon, Louise Berardis and JoAnn Marcello all of Rhode Island.
Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Snowflake Main Street Chapel, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
