LOPEZ, Nicolas Frank

Nicolas Frank Lopez (or as he often referred to himself, "NFL"). Born March 28, 1956. Nick left us to be with the Lord on August 18, 2010. 

Nick was born and raised in Tucson, AZ and was a resident of San Diego where he put down roots and considered it his home. Although he didn't realize this before he left us, he could always liven up a room and he loved to make people laugh. He was loved by many and is deeply missed. At this time, we are not saying goodbye, but instead, "see you later". 

His mother, Jessie Venable, whom he loved dearly, sadly preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Kristen (Joe) Ables; son, Jason Lopez; grandson, Ashton Ables and siblings, Danny (Maurine) Lopez, Laurina D'Eliso and Billy (Danielle) Brady; niece, Angie Celix; nephews, Shawn Brady and Nico D'Eliso; his father, Theodore Lopez and many loving relatives. 

A Celebration of his Life will be on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the CALIFORNIA CREMATION AND BURIAL CHAPEL, 5880 El Cajon Blvd., San Diego, CA 92115.
