Memorial services for Mrs. Coleen Inez Nichols, 70, of Surprise Arizona will be held Saturday January, 3rd, 2004, at Sunland Lakeside Chapel, 15826 Del Webb Blvd. Sun City. Arrangements are by Sunland Mortuary. 

Born Coleen Inez Roberts in Louisiana on December 2, 1933 and lived in the Franklin Parish area for many years, moving to Arizona over 25 years ago. Coleen passed away Sunday, December 28, 2003, at home from an extended illness. She was retired from the Arizona Department of Transportation. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Alcie Ray Nichols of 42 years, her parents Lessie Roberts (DeWitt) and Henry Claude Roberts, and two brothers; Charles Leonard and Leslie Coley (affectingly known as LC). Survivors include her three sons; Marc Andre, his wife Michelle, Jeffrey Ellis, his wife Darlene, and Paul Bretaign; three grandchildren Shelby Nicole, Tyller Bretaign, Mickale Korren and great granddaughter Jordyn Marie; Coleen's sister Corrina Irene Robertson and family; and brother Bobby Wayne Roberts, his wife Judy and family; and LC's family.
