APPLETON, Naomi

Naomi Johnson Lauderdale Appleton, 94, of Payson, AZ passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2003. 
Naomi was born in Chuichupu, Mexico on February 18, 1909 to Harriet Jane Hakes and Benjamin Johnson. She was one of 12 children. 

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Lauderdale and their son Bobby; and by her second husband H.L. "George" Appleton, and their son John Appleton. Her daughter, Edna L. Jones, sister, Lottie Bell Smith, and several nieces and nephews survive her. She is also survived by eight loving grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. We love her and we will miss her very much. 

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2004 at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald, Mesa, AZ 85201.
