Harold Edward Brooks, 72, formerly of Lake Havasu City, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2008, in Brighton Colo. He was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., on Feb. 23, 1936, to Clair and Lydia Belle Brooks.
Harold will always be remembered as a man who loved to golf and fish and more importantly spend time with his family. Though he may be gone from our lives, he will forever remain in our hearts.
Harold is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Nancy Brooks and their children, who filled his life with constant happiness; Barb (Arden) Youmans, Dorothy Brooks, Kim (Ernie) Culver, Tammy (Chris) Krell, Scott (Christine) Brooks, Paula (Steve) Annala, and Jeff (Renanne) Brooks; seven brothers, three sisters, 18 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, to whom he loved being a grandpa. Harold’s life was filled with a long list of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, as well as many friends, who he shared some of his fondest memories with.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clair and Lydia Belle Brooks; his son, Richard; and his brothers, Charles (Chuck) and Jack Brooks.
A memorial service will be held on May 3, at 2384 Brady Lake Drive in Morley, Mich.
