Gwen Loairrie Boetto died Sept. 10, 2007, in Mesa.

She was born in Gallup, N.M., and as a child moved to Phoenix. Gwen went to North High School where she met her husband Nicholas Albert Boetto. They married Dec. 18, 1948. Gwen is survived by her beloved husband and five children, Albert Dennis Boetto, Pamela Joyce Garvin, Charles Anthony Boetto, Tina Louise Pinney and Peggy Darlene Hummel. Gwen was also the proud grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of six.

A viewing will be held Friday, Sept. 14, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa. 

Services will be Saturday, Sept. 15, at 9 a.m. with visitation from 8-8:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Solomon Ward, 977 East Broadway Road, Mesa.
