The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ September 13, 2007 Julia Sarah Burnette, 72, of Cedar Creek died Sept. 8, 2007. Julia was born July 19, 1935, to Martin and Mary (DeClay) Burnette. She is survived by daughter Delta (Carlton) Kindelay; four grandchildren, Randy (Abigail) Burnette, Carla Kindelay, Elliott Kindelay and Eli Kindelay; two great-grandchildren, Melanie Burnette and Dianna Kindelay; brother Hollis Burnette; six sisters, Lorraine Endfield, Eva Sands, Verlita Beatty, Wanda Burnette, Ruth Goklish and Alice Quintero. A two-night wake will begin Saturday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. at the family residence in Canyon Day. Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 17, at 1 p.m. at the R14 Cedar Creek Tabernacle. Interment will be at the Red Mountain Cemetery in Cedar Creek. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
