Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ Tuesday, August 31, 2010 James "Jim" W. White, 68, of Kingman passed away Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, in Kingman. He was born May 6, 1942, in Wellsburg, W.Va., and came to Kingman 40 years ago from Wellsburg. Jim was a welder, a member of the Pioneer Club, and a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy from 1961 to 1965. Jim is survived by his wife, Ginger White of Kingman; two brothers, Bill (Bea) White of Glendale, and Tom (Rose Marie) White of Phoenix; two sons, Troy (Allison) White of Redding, Calif., and Bill (Tammy) White of El Dorado Hills, Calif.; one stepson, John (Candy) Rowe of Kingman; and two stepdaughters, Tammy (Donavan) Cranford of Golden Valley and Rena (Jason) Osborn of Henderson, Nev. He was also "Papa Jim" to 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Jim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, whether it was cooking up a favorite meal, fishing, playing cards, traveling or just watching a beautiful Arizona sunset. Services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, at Connection Point Church, 4435 N. Shadow Road, Kingman.
